Combine two favourites for one delicious entree...

If you love steak, and you love Caesar salad then this recipe will appeal to you. It’s simple to prepare and a favourite of all who have tried it...bon appetit!

Marinade:

 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese*                                1/8 cup extra-virgin olive oil                             2 tbsp Dijon mustard (from France)                2 cloves garlic, minced                                        1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce                              1 tsp ground black pepper                                  1/2 tsp red wine vinegar                                     1/4 tsp salt                                                             1/4 tsp Tobasco sauce

  1    1-1/2 lb. thick sirloin steak, boneless

*the cheaper parmesan cheese that you buy off the shelf at the grocery store works best

Directions:

Whisk together Caesar marinade in a bowl. Pat steak dry and place in a flat glass dish. Spread half of marinade onto bottom of dish, add steak, and put remaining marinade on top. Refrigerate for several hours.

Broil steak in oven, or grill on barbecue, turning half-way through until meat is cooked as desired.
